A half day tour

Tijdens deze Rememberance Tour bezoeken we de voornaamste sites waar de slag om de Ardennen op verschillende manieren wordt herdacht. U krijgt achtergrondinformatie over de oorsprong van de herdenkingsplaatsen, de symboliek en een kort overzicht van de Slag om de Ardennen.

We bezoeken locaties zoals:
- Mardasson
- Peace Woods
- Voormalig treinstation
- Easy Company monument en Bois Jacques
- Monument tijdelijke begraafplaats
- Duitse begraafplaats in Recogne
- De zogenaamde aanrijdroute van de medics

U gaat met ons op tour in een Dodge WC62 of een na-oorlogse leger jeep..

Kiest u voor de ochtend dan stapt u op om 10.00 uur en bent om 14.00 uur weer terug. Kiest u voor de middag dan stapt u op om 14.00 uur en bent u om 18.00 uur weer terug. 

Opstapplaats is bij ons winkelpand "Militaria Bastoge" aan Place McAuliffe 38R.

Deze tour zal doorgaan wanneer wij in totaal minimaal 5 reserveringen hebben. Dat betekent dus niet dat u met minimaal 5 personen hoeft te komen. Wij combineren uw reservering met de reservering van andere klanten. De kosten van deze tour zijn 45 euro per persoon (toeslag WW2 voertuig € 10,00 p.p)  De kosten voor kinderen tot 10 jaar bedragen 10 euro per kind. Groepskortingen kunnen verleend worden bij groepen van minimaal 10 volwassen deelnemers.

De tour met het WW2 voertuig is altijd afhankelijk van de technische beschikbaarheid van het voertuig.

Het team van "The Bulge Battlefield Tours" kijkt er naar uit om met u op tour te gaan!!

During this “Rememberance Tour” we’ll visit the most important sites where the Battle of the Bulge is remembered in various ways. You’ll get background information about the origin of these sites, the symbolism and a short overview of the Battle of the Bulge.

We’ll visit the following locations:
- Mardasson
- Peace woods
- Former halt station
- Easy Company monument and the Bois Jacques area
- Monument on the temporary cemetery
- German cemetery in Recogne
- The so cold “route of the medics”

You can join us with this tour and ride with us in a Dodge WC62 or a post-war army Jeep.

When you choose the morning tour, we expect you to be present at our store at 10 A.M.. The tour starts at 10 A.M. and we’ll be back at 2 P.M..

When you choose the afternoon tour, we expect you to be present at our store at 2 P.M.. The tour starts at 2 P.M. and we’ll be back at 6 P.M.

The address of our store is Place McAuliffe 38R, Bastogne (in the middle of the centre across the Sherman Tank). 

The minimum amount of registrations for this tour is 5 people. That doesn't mean you can't book this tour when you're coming with less than 5 people. We'll just combine different reservations to complete the tour group you'll be in. The price for this tour is 45 euro per person (for a tour in the WW2 vehicle we charge € 10,00 p.p. extra)
The costs for children younger than 10 years old are 10 euros per child. Group discount is possible for groups larger than 10 paying adults.
